Worden Farm is a 125-acre family farm in Florida, USA, founded and actively run by Chris Worden, Ph.D. and Eva Worden, Ph.D., husband and wife, growing certified-organic crops, with sustainable, regenerative, climate-wise agricultural practices since 2003.

Worden Farm produce is 100% USDA-certified organic, safe, affordable, nutrient-dense, delicious, and available directly to the local community in season, Fall through Spring, through a farm box program, a members-only farm stand, and local farmers markets. 

Worden Farm Consulting services help aspiring and fellow farmers to succeed in organic crop production and marketing.

The Wordens are scientists and educators, and have promoted organic food and agriculture through experimental research, academic publications, videos, television shows, workshops, farm tours, university courses, conferences, consulting, and an intensive farm apprenticeship program. They have participated in agricultural development and community greening projects across the United States and internationally.

The Wordens are recipients of the Florida Innovative Farmer Award, and have been recognized as Organic Farmer Experts by the Organic Trade Association and the United States Department of Agriculture.

Chris Worden’s doctorate is in Crop Science from University of Connecticut, and Eva Worden’s doctorate is in Ecosystem Management from Yale University. Chris and Eva met while earning Masters of Science degrees in Horticulture from University of Maryland, after earning undergraduate degrees by Chris at University of Maryland, and Eva at University of Florida.
